If you are a professional working with a potential client.
Please contact 01706 870 870939 or email office@themagdaleneproject.co.uk . You will be sent a referral form on email to fill in regarding your role and what services the client has already accessed through yourselves.
When we have received your referral.
You will then be invited for an assessment at one of our offices. This is what you can expect at assessment:
Please allow up to 1.5 hours.
An assessment involves letting you know about our service and how it is funded.
The assessor will gather information from you- that will help them see if you are ready for counselling and if so, to allocate an appropriate counsellor to you.
It is not your counselling, which will be offered at a later date when a counsellor becomes available who seems like a good match for you.
Following assessment and receipt of the funding form, you will be allocated a counsellor we feel is suitable for your needs who will contact you when they have a vacancy.
What can I expect from counselling?
How is my counselling funded?
We ask for an affordable donation per session from clients, to invest in their journey of recovery and contribute to the costs of keeping the charity running. Costs of counselling are subsidised if necessary through the generous donations of supporters, local churches and individuals who have themselves benefitted from counselling and wish to “pay it forward”.
